International Travel December 2013 to February 2014

Flights had been booked!!  Oh dear … this is becoming real now!

The travel plan as follow:

30 November 2013 to 17 December 2013: Canada

  • I will be going to places like London, Ontario; Toronto Ontario; Kemptville Ontario; and Possibly Rochester, NY.  The date has not been confirmed yet although the last weekend, I will be visiting a friend in Kemptville for which I look forward to.
  • I will be visiting Ryerson University to have a discussion about multisensory technologies and also vising VibraFusionLab in London to meet David Bobiers to discuss about his work.  His work can be found at this link:   I am hoping to create partnership for my experimental arts grant and PhD in Multisensory Modalities in theatre for deaf and hearing audiences.

17 December 2013 to 21 February 2014

  • Overnight stay in London on 18th December before I embark on 24 days Europe Winter Spirit on the 19th December and ending on 11th January.  To get some ideas of this trip:
  • From 11th January to 21st February, I will be mentored by a few individuals and visiting a number of theatre across UK including Graeae Theatre, Candoco Theatre and Deafinity Theatre.  I am yet to hear from others.  Also  I will be meeting a number of individuals as well.

I only now have to organise accommodation.  I am just hoping to share accommodation for 2 months from January to February so it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg.  If you know someone who is willing to provide share accommodation for a short term stay – I am happy to pay rent, please let me know.
